Where to get answers for your PSION questions

It's a long time before the next PEAT meeting, the middle of the night, and you have a question about your PSION that you need answered NOW! What to do?

A good place to start is the PSION FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). FAQs are questions that people have asked over and over again, and others have gotten tired of answering...so they set up a site with the questions and answers listed. Questions like, "How to use the external buttons (on the Series 5/5mx) when the machine is password protected?" and, "How do I grab a screen image?"

There is the old Series 3/3a FAQ (which can also apply to newer Series 3 machines as well), Series 5 FAQ, and others have set up FAQs for the Revo, Series 7, and soon you should start seeing them for the next generation of machines.

Links to the FAQs can be found in our
Links section.

PSION has also set up a "knowledge base" now that answers questions. That is also listed in the FAQ section of our
Links section.

If your question is a little more detailed, or if you can't find an answer in the FAQs, you should ask it in a message base. In our
Links section I have chosen sites with messages bases that have a good response quota, and many of those sites I visit on a daily basis myself to keep up with what's happening in the PSION world.

Another sort of message base is the Usenet Newsgroups. I've listed the common ones in the
Links section. There others that cater to the PSION, but they're in other languages.

And finally, if you want to ask someone live or you just want to chat with other PSION users for the fun of it, there are PSION chats. I'm in
EPOC Chat usually every Sunday at 1pm Eastern Time.

All else, you can
email the PEAT mailing list. If you're not a member, please click here to join first.
